Newstead Country Preschool is a highly regarded preschool, located on 15 acres of farmland and native bush, with a license for 37 tamariki aged birth - 6 years old. We have a well established Ngahere Education Programme for our oldest tamariki with 2 days a week spent out at our day shelter, and regular outings into the surrounding farmland and bush for our younger tamariki. We have an exciting opportunity for a specialist infant and tToddler kaiako to join us in a leadership role. You would be supporting our Infant & Toddler kaiako to care for our beautiful pēpi and toddlers with a ratio of around 15 tamariki with 5 kaiako. We are looking for a great communicator, who loves pulling on a pair of gumboots and getting outside, is happy to be around animals, appreciates the benefits of a mixed age setting, can support team PGC’s, lead review and manage everything else in between in collaboration with our other Team Leader.
