We'relooking for a curious and motivated Data Scientist to join our growing Data + Analytics team. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, scientists, and data specialists while building your skills on meaningful projects that make a difference. Whatyou'llbe doing As a Data Scientist, you'll help transform data into valuable insights that support projects across infrastructure, environment, natural hazards, water, transport, and more. You'llhave opportunities to: Analyse, clean, and transform large and complex datasets Develop data pipelines and workflows to support project delivery Apply data science, statistical analysis, and machine learning techniques to real-world problems Create visualisations and dashboards that help tell compelling stories through data Work alongside engineers, scientists, and digital specialists on multidisciplinary projects Explore emerging technologies and innovative ways to solve client challenges Contribute to the development of tools, automation, and best practices across the business No two days will be the same, andyou'llgain exposure to a diverse range of projects and industries. Whatyou'llbring 3-5 plus years of experience in a similar role A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline Experience using Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools Strong analytical and critical thinking skills The ability to communicate complex information clearly A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others Naturally curious, enjoy solving problems, and using data to create positive change. Great attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work Experience with machine learning, computer vision, cloud platforms, or data engineering concepts would beadvantageous, butisn'tessential.
