Finance Lead - Auckland

Sorted Logistics is seeking an experienced Finance Lead to oversee our finance function and play a key role within our Leadership Group. Thisis an opportunity to join a growing New Zealand business where you'll have areal impact on financial performance, strategic direction, operationalefficiency, and team development.

This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position based inour Auckland office in Māngere.

Reporting to the General Manager - Finance, you'll be responsible for theoverall leadership and management of the finance function across the business.You'll provide accurate financial reporting, oversee compliance and cashflowmanagement, support strategic decision-making, and lead a high-performingfinance team.

This role combines strong commercial acumen with hands-onfinancial leadership and offers broad exposure across budgeting, reporting,procurement, business improvement, and stakeholder management.

• Provide strategic and operational leadershipacross the finance function.
\n
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting,forecasting, cashflow, and statutory compliance.
\n
• Deliver commercial insights and recommendationsthat support business performance and growth.
\n
• Lead and develop a capable finance team, drivingengagement and continuous improvement.
\n
• Build strong relationships with keystakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to optimise commercial outcomes.

We're seeking a confident and capable finance professionalwho can balance strategic thinking with operational excellence.

• CA, ACA, AT or CIMA qualification (orequivalent)
\n
• Proven experience in a senior Finance Manager orFinance Leadership role
\n
• Strong financial reporting, budgeting,forecasting, and statutory compliance knowledge
\n
• Demonstrated experience leading and developinghigh-performing teams
\n
• Excellent commercial acumen and financialanalysis skills
\n
• Advanced Excel and financial systems capability
\n
• Freight forwarding, logistics, transport, orsupply chain industry experience
\n
• Experience using CargoWise or similar systems
\n
• Strong supplier negotiation and stakeholdermanagement experience
\n
