This role connects customer requirements, production schedules, materials, and teams to ensure the right products are ready at the right time. About the Role Poulter Family Wines Limited is seekinga highly organised, hands‑on and proactive Production Planner to join our growing wine manufacturing operation. This is a hands‑on planning role sitting at the centre of our bottling operation. You’ll own the production plan and make sure everything is ready to go, the right wine, dry goods, labels, specifications and paperwork, before it hits the bottling line. You’ll work closely with our Operations, Bottling Line, Winemaking, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Sales teams to keep production running smoothly and stay ahead of potential issues. Your duties and responsibilities include: Develop, maintain and communicate the rolling bottling and production schedule. Turn customer orders, forecasts and stock requirements into production plans. Monitor customer deadlines and production priorities. Coordinate changes to the production plan and communicate these across the team. Coordinate wine readiness and production requirements. Forecast and order bottles, cartons, labels, closures and other dry goods. Manage supplier lead times and follow up on outstanding requirements. Ensure every bottling run is fully prepared ahead of production. Prepare bottling specifications, production paperwork and system requirements. Identify shortages, capacity constraints or potential issues before they impact production. Reconcile completed bottling runs, including finished goods, wine and dry goods usage. Help continually improve our planning and production processes. Qualifications & Experience Experience in production planning, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, FMCG, food/beverage or wine would be highly regarded.
