Medical Officer – The Pegasus Health 24 Hour Surgery Utilise your expert knowledge and clinical skills to provide excellent urgent care to our patients presenting with a wide range of conditions. The Pegasus Health 24 Hour Surgery is committed to providing high-quality, 24 hourhealthcareto the people of Christchurch. We work in a tight knit and supportive team that are dedicated to our purpose “Together making Canterbury the best place to receive and provide primary care”.We have a purposedesigned Urgent Care service that providesa wide range of diagnostic services,anobservation unit, fracture management and community care .It isthe only medical centre in the South Island thatoperates24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We currently have a few permanent Medical Officer positions available with hours ranging from 24-32 hours per week. Kotāuakemahi | What you will bedoing Our Medical Officers work collaboratively as part of a larger team, providing acute medical services to patients who present at the24 HourSurgery with a diverse range of conditions.Expert knowledge and clinical skills are used to oversee patient care, using best practice to ensure patient outcomes are maximized. The role has flexible working hours, includinga variety of day, evening,nightand weekend shifts. Registered Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligible for registration with the Medical Council to enable practice in New Zealand Minimum of 3 years postgraduate work experience Experience working in Urgent Care, Primary Care, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics or Orthopedics.
