We are seeking a recent graduate or early career policy analyst, you willcontribute to the development of evidence-based, consumer-focused policysolutions that help ensure Aotearoa New Zealand's electricity sector deliversreliable, affordable, and efficient outcomes for consumers. This is anexcellent opportunity to build your policy skills while working on complex andhigh-impact issues that shape the future of the electricity market. Working alongside experiencedpolicy professionals, you will support a range of projects within our WholesaleMarkets Policy team. You will undertake research and analysis, help developpolicy options, engage with industry stakeholders, and contribute to adviceprovided to the Authority's senior leaders and decision-makers. Nōute rourou | What you’ll bring You will bring thefollowing: A relevantqualification in public policy, law or economics, finance, engineering orbusiness Prior experiencein in a policy or regulatory role is preferrable A proven trackrecord of producing high quality work Stakeholdermanagement experience in Government and/or industry An understandingof the relationships between the different parts of the electricityindustry, including the likely incentives/drivers on participants isdesirable but not necessary.
