About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Radiology Manager to lead our Radiology Service at Gisborne Hospital.You will provide operational and professional leadership to the Radiology team, ensuring the delivery of safe, equitable, efficient and high-quality diagnostic imaging services.This role is responsible for managing service delivery, workforce planning, budget performance, quality improvement initiatives, contracted services, and strategic development. You will work collaboratively with clinicians, multidisciplinary teams, primary care providers and key stakeholders. You will also work alongside other Radiology Managers across the Te Manawa Taki region to strengthen and improve regional radiology services, support consistent approaches to service delivery, and ensure patients receive imaging within the timeframes set by the Ministry of Health.Position Description: Radiology Manager About the Team/Service/ LocationOur Radiology Service provides a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the Tairāwhiti community and plays a vital role in supporting patient diagnosis and treatment across the district.This role is responsible for managing service delivery, workforce planning, budget performance, quality improvement initiatives, contracted services, and strategic development. You will have a collaborative leadership style and a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centered services. Essential requirements: Proven experience leading and managing teams. Demonstrated planning, business development and budget management experience. Experience leading service improvements and organisational change. Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to lead quality improvement initiatives and achieve service outcomes. Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Proven experience successfully leading diverse teams through change and achieving improved results. Experience in a mental health and addiction setting is desirable.
