AM Transport Dispatcher

We are seeking an experienced Transport Dispatcher to join our Christchurch team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Container Manager, this role operates on a day shift from Monday to Friday, typically between 4:00am and 1:00pm. About the role? This role will see you responsible for providing support and leadership to our Drivers, including supervising day-to-day movements and operational requirements. The role includes administration and dispatch duties, while providing support to the Transport Team and Manager to ensure the efficient coordination of daily operations. Your skills and attributes will demonstrate: Dispatch experience with the ability to efficiently allocate transportation requirements Ability to thrive under pressure and think on your feet Excellent time management and organisational skills Supervision and leadership experience Intricate knowledge of the Health & Safety at Work Act, compliance and other relevant transport legislation Experience using ERoad and ICOS TMS would be highly desirable 2 years dispatch experience including container fleet operation is desirable Your ability to manage driver hours and annual leave What will set you up for success?
