AV Manager

Join and lead a team of 7 direct reports, providing first level technical support in the AV space for internal customers. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will contribute to the delivery of reliable and secure technology services through team leadership and delivery of project outcomes. This large public sector organisation is a fantastic place to work with a technically mature team with long tenure. Other Duties Include Work to implement recommendations from a recent review, to a pre-provided structure Provide leadership and development for the existing team of seven direct reports Ensure continuity of provision of effective meeting room technology, AV and event technology Manage relationships with external suppliers and contractors Coordinate new business processes and internal systems to align BAU practices across the team Promote a strong health and safety culture across the team Manage operational and capital budgets We Are Looking For: Very strong previous experience in people leadership, ideally within a team providing AV/event technology services, or in the IT sector Ability to implement recommendations, prepare project plans and deliver strong outcomes for new business processes Excellent ability to effect change while continuing to provide BAU services Able to foster relationships, manage customer expectations and contribute positively to organisational culture PLEASE NOTE: To be eligible to apply, you must be Wellington based, with the legal right to work in New Zealand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
