SAP IBP Consultant

Job Title: SAP IBP Consultant (Response & Supply / Inventory Optimization) Location: New Zealand (Contract) Employment Type: Contract About the Role We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Consultant to support the migration from SAP APO to SAP IBP. The role will focus on configuring IBP Response & Supply , Inventory Optimization , and integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS to deliver an end-to-end supply planning solution. Key Responsibilities Configure and implement SAP IBP Response & Supply (Order-Based Planning) and Inventory Optimization solutions. Design and optimize planning areas, allocation rules, deployment strategies, and inventory planning models. Configure and support integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA PP/DS for supply planning and production scheduling. Develop and maintain data integrations using Real-Time Integration (RTI) and SAP CPI-DS . Manage master data and transactional data integration between SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP. Troubleshoot integration, synchronization, and data reconciliation issues across planning systems. Prepare functional specifications, planning calculations, analytics, and reporting dashboards. Support Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-production hypercare activities. Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable supply chain planning solutions. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of SAP Supply Chain experience, including 5+ years of hands-on SAP IBP configuration. Strong expertise in SAP IBP Response & Supply (Order-Based Planning) and Inventory Optimization . Experience delivering at least two end-to-end SAP IBP implementations . Strong experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS . Hands-on experience with RTI, CPI-DS, and CIF for SAP data integration. Strong understanding of supply chain planning, inventory optimization, and production planning processes. Experience with testing, deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with SAP S/4HANA ePPDS . Previous experience with SAP APO migration projects.
