Responsibilities As Senior Chef de Partie, you will prepare and cook dishes in accordance with standard procedures, recipes, photographs, and instructions. You will support the Sous Chef in training team members, contribute to product development, and help ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen. Preparing and presenting food efficiently, hygienically, and to brand standards. Oversee line cooks to ensure and provide support as needed in the absence of senior chefs to ensure smooth and efficient operations Supporting the Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and team coordination. Ensuring food quality, portion control, and cost efficiency across all menus. Upholding r egulatory standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment Participating in inventory, menu planning, and off-site events as required. Collaborating with Stewarding to minimise breakages and maintain hygiene. Adapting to changes, solving problems under pressure, and maintaining a positive team culture. Please note that this is a permanent position and is guaranteed 30 hours per week on a rotating shift basis What are we looking for? A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-standard kitchen within a 5-star hotel. At least 1 year in a Demi Chef de Partie or equivalent role. Culinary qualification and/or relevant experience Strong knowledge of Western cuisine, with proficiency in relevant cooking techniques. Solid understanding of HACCP and food safety standards. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive, professional attitude. Strong leadership and training skills, with a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
