About the role We are seeking 4-7+ Years PQE Employment Lawyers to join our highly regarded Employment Team, advising a diverse client base on a broad range of employment law matters. You will work alongside experienced employment specialists and be involved in: Employment agreements, policies and workplace compliance Employment relations issues and disciplinary processes Personal grievances and employment disputes Restructuring and workplace change processes Mediation, investigations and Employment Relations Authority matters Strategic employment advice for businesses across a range of industries From day one, you'll be given meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the support needed to continue developing your technical expertise and professional confidence. About you You have a genuine interest in employment law and enjoy the variety of work the practice area offers. You combine strong technical skills with a practical approach and are committed to delivering excellent client service. You will bring: At least 4-7+ years' PQE and be admitted in New Zealand Experience advising on a broad range of employment relations and workplace matters, including employment disputes, personal grievances, disciplinary processes, restructures, investigations and mediation matters An understanding of employment legislation and the ability to apply it in a commercially pragmatic way Strong drafting skills, including employment agreements, policies, correspondence and legal advice Excellent communication, negotiation and advocacy skills The ability to manage competing priorities and work with a good level of autonomy A collaborative and down-to-earth style that aligns with our team culture Why Holland Beckett?
