We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate part time Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Palm Grove in Christchurch . About The Role Working under the guidance of a Registered Physiotherapist, you will support the delivery of physiotherapy programmes that enhance residents’ mobility, independence, and overall wellbeing. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older people. What you’ll be doing: This position forms a part of the physiotherapy team and is responsible for implementing physio treatment plans with residents under supervision. The key purpose of the role is to undertake physio treatment and assist with all aspects of the physio service under the direction and supervision of the physiotherapist. What you’ll bring: Experience in a healthcare, aged care, or rehabilitation setting (preferred) Qualification in Physiotherapy Assistance, Rehabilitation Assistance, or similar (advantageous) A genuine passion for supporting older people Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good time management and organisational skills Why join Oceania?
