You will be joining PwC's Digital & Data Transformation consulting practice, based in either our Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland or Ẽūčā / Christchurch office, where you will partner with senior client executives to solve complex business challenges through AI, cloud and digital technologies. As an Associate Director, you'll play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes for some of New Zealand's leading organisations. Working closely with Partners and Directors, you'll build trusted client relationships, lead multidisciplinary teams, drive business development and help organisations unlock value through AI, cloud, data and emerging technologies.

Your day-to-day could include:\n
    \n
  • Leading AI, cloud and digital transformation engagements from strategy through to delivery.
  • \n
  • Advising senior client stakeholders on technology strategy, operating models, enterprise architecture, business cases and transformation roadmaps.
  • \n
  • Leading executive workshops, governance forums and multidisciplinary delivery teams to deliver high-quality client outcomes.
  • \n
  • Building client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and contributing to proposals and practice development.
  • \n
  • Coaching and developing high-performing consulting teams while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • \n
  • Helping clients responsibly adopt emerging technologies to improve customer, employee and business outcomes.
  • \n

You'll join a highly credentialled team with expertise across consulting, engineering, architecture, AI, data and technology strategy, working collaboratively to solve complex problems and deliver meaningful impact.

Ngō pōōka kei a koe / Skills and experience\n

We're looking for an experienced Associate Director with 8-12+ years' experience leading technology consulting, digital transformation or enterprise technology programmes within a consulting, advisory or large enterprise environment. You'll ideally hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.

We're looking for demonstrated capability across several of the following:\n
    \n
  • Leading AI, cloud and digital transformation strategy and delivery, including Generative AI, intelligent automation and modern cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud).
  • \n
  • Developing technology strategies, enterprise or solution architectures, target operating models, business cases and transformation roadmaps.
  • \n
  • Delivering complex transformation programmes across technology modernisation, data, analytics and enterprise architecture.
  • \n
  • Providing executive-level technology advisory, transformation consulting and technology due diligence.
  • \n
  • Building trusted client relationships, leading business development initiatives and contributing to practice growth.
  • \n
  • Influencing senior stakeholders, facilitating executive workshops and engaging confidently with C-suite leaders.
  • \n
  • Leading, mentoring and developing high-performing consulting teams.
  • \n
  • A passion for emerging technologies and helping organisations responsibly adopt AI and digital capabilities to create measurable business value.
