Kŋrero '4;)4; ū '4;(7;Ǖ)3;áˇna People Advisor Provide trusted, day‑to‑day people advice to leaders across NZ Post. Support consistent, fair and practical people decisions. M%4;u - About the role Our People Advisors play a key role in helping leaders navigate everyday people matters with confidence and consistency. You’ll provide practical, risk‑aligned advice across a broad range of employment and HR issues. You’ll support leaders with employee relations matters, performance concerns, policy interpretation, employment agreement queries and people change activity. You’ll manage cases end‑to‑end, escalating higher‑risk or complex matters where needed, and work closely with offshore HR administrators to ensure timely, accurate people transactions. You’ll also contribute to continuous improvement and support the delivery of core HR initiatives. You’ll do that by: Providing practical advice on employee relations, performance and people policies Managing people cases from enquiry through to resolution Coaching leaders to build capability and confidence in people management Supporting change activity, including documentation and consultation steps Partnering with offshore HR teams to deliver accurate people transactions Identifying patterns and improvement opportunities across people practices M%4;u - About you You’re an experienced HR generalist or People Advisor who enjoys working close to the business and solving real problems for leaders and teams. You bring sound judgement, a calm approach to risk, and a genuine desire to help people get it right. You’re organised, approachable and confident juggling multiple matters, and you value clear processes and consistent practice. You’ll bring: Experience in a generalist HR or People Advisory role Working knowledge of NZ employment legislation and ER principles Confidence managing performance, conduct and change‑related matters Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Comfort working in a shared services or onshore‑offshore model A practical, customer‑focused and solutions‑oriented mindset He Aha Te Pai - What you’ll love about us!
