Additional $2.50 per hour for all weekend hours worked Fun, friendly and supportive environment Ongoing training and development opportunities About the Role We have an exciting new position as a Baker with some Cafe Assistant at Linda Jones Retirement Village in Hamilton duties involved as well. This is a Casual position. In this role you will: Bake and cook a wide selection of cabinet food to delight our residents and guests Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the cafe for residents, relatives and visitors Work the till, manage stock, and adhere to food safety standards Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere at the village About You To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have: Experience in baking and cookery Barista qualification and proven reliability Ability to work independently to the highest standards Strong empathy A reliable, friendly and professional manner Please note that, although we often welcome applications from overseas candidates, due to immigration requirements, we require applicants to have New Zealand work rights for this position About Ryman Ryman is a leader in retirement living and care, employing over 7,700 people in New Zealand and Australia across a wide range of areas, including nursing, village operations, sales, technology, design, and corporate roles.
