About the Team: The Finance Team is responsible for the overallfinancial management and support processes within Airways, includingtransaction accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger support tobusiness units, financial IT systems, procurement, property management, capitalplanning, statutory reporting and management reporting. About the Role: We have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable TeamLeader to join our Auckland (airport) based team on a permanent full-timebasis. You’ll be accountable for the Accounts Payable (AP)function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor payments, andmaintaining the integrity of vendor master data. You’ll provide monthly reports on sensitiveexpenditure and provide oversight of AP controls to support the accuracy andreliability of Airways’ financial records. As the team leader,you’ll direct, empower, motivate, and develop your direct report to achievepersonal, business unit and organisational goals. Additionally, you’ll worktowards continuous improvement whilst adhering to our controls and compliance. About You: Due to the nature of the role and our operations,you'll be proactive with excellent time management, prioritisation andproblem-solving abilities. Additionally, you will have: Sound accounting knowledge and workingexperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance or other large ERP systems aswell as Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Experience applying and adhering to policiesand procedures Experience dealing with foreigncurrency and international suppliers Communication skills and confidenceneeded to liaise with internal and external stakeholders High attention to detail with a focuson quality and delivering to strict deadlines Ability to work in a dynamic businessenvironment, collaborate with people internally and externally, show resilienceand agility, take ownership and focus on delivering successful businessoutcomes.
