We are seeking a talented and patient-focused Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team across our Auckland branches. As a Medical Imaging Technologist at Auckland Radiology Group, your purpose is to provide a professional, caring and quality imaging service to all patients and provide explanations appropriate to the procedure.
\nIn this role, you will use relevant and current technical skills to expertly explain and perform all radiological procedures for patients, and take responsibility for producing the highest quality of diagnostic imaging, working with a high degree of independence. You will demonstrate a high standard of working knowledge of medical imaging equipment and computer systems, and ensure all documentation is current, accurate, timely and maintains confidentiality within a legal and ethical framework.
\nYou will deliver patient care in line with patient code of rights and other relevant legislation, seek and gain informed consent for all procedures, perform examinations efficiently to keep patient waiting times to a minimum, and act considerately and compassionately to all patients.

- A relevant qualification and current registration with the Medical Radiation Technologist Board, including a current Annual Practising Certificate \n
- Sound knowledge of Medical Radiation Technology techniques and practices, and a commitment to excellence in delivering patient care \n
- Strong customer care and service skills, with the ability to work well with all kinds of people and pay close attention to detail \n
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of being part of a team \n
- A continuous improvement focus and collaborative mindset to deliver better outcomes for patients and referrers \n
- Initiative, good judgement, honesty and integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times \n
