About the Role Permanent Full time 1 FT E Monday to Friday. Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for improving patient outcomes and driving service excellence? We are seeking a Registered Nurse - Faster Cancer Treatment (FCT) Coordinator to join our Cancer Services team. In this pivotal role, you will help ensure patients referred with a high suspicion of cancer or diagnosed with cancer receive timely access to treatment through effective coordination, data analysis, quality improvement, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. This is an opportunity to contribute to a programme that directly impacts patient experience and clinical outcomes while working alongside Cancer Nurse Specialists / Cancer Nurse Coordinators medical staff, and service leaders. About you EssentialCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse in New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate. Minimum four years' post-registration experience in a secondary care settingStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities and attention to detailStrong IT skillsAbility to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills. Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and continuous learning. DesirableExperience in cancer care or oncology services. Experience with clinical auditing, data analysis or healthcare quality initiatives. Knowledge of cancer patient pathways and health system processes.
