Mō te tūnga | About the role Our Digital team delivers technology and services that support more than 11,000 staff, frontline operations, partners and the people we manage across Aotearoa. We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager - Digital to lead a diverse portfolio of digital infrastructure and service initiatives that are critical to the safe and effective delivery of Corrections services. In this role, you will oversee the planning and delivery of projects within the Digital Infrastructure Services programme spanning network connectivity, datacentre, cloud platforms, communication services, cybersecurity and other infrastructure platforms and solutions. Working closely with Product Directors, project teams, vendors, other Programme Managers and senior stakeholders, you will provide leadership across programme governance, financial management, resource planning, risk management and investment delivery. This is a highly visible role with significant influence across the delivery of digital services. Digital Infrastructure Services are foundational for many other applications, products and services within the digital portfolio. You will help shape future investment roadmaps and priorities, support programme decision‑making and ensure digital programmes deliver value for frontline operations. Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience leading large-scale digital or technology programmes, with a strong track record of delivering complex initiatives in fast‑paced environments. You will be comfortable working across multiple priorities, influencing diverse stakeholders, and balancing strategic planning with delivery execution. Significant experience leading complex digital technology programmes. Strong programme governance, financial management, budgeting and executive reporting capability. Experience developing and maintaining investment plans, investment cases, resource forecasts and delivery roadmaps. Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, operational teams, vendors and delivery partners. Demonstrated experience managing programme risks, dependencies and competing priorities across multiple workstreams. Outstanding leadership, communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to guide and support delivery teams in a matrix environment. Ngā painga | The benefits The midpoint of the salary range is $182,127 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $154,808 - $218,553 per annum. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
