We're looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing Adviser to join our People team on a six-month fixed-term contract on a Part Time basis (30 hours per week) to help drive our health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across the business. This position will be based in our Auckland office. About The Role Reporting to the Head of Talent and Reward, you'll play a key role in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of MAS's Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System. You'll partner with leaders and employees across the organisation to strengthen our health, safety and wellbeing maturity, embed effective risk management practices, and support initiatives that contribute to a safe, healthy and thriving workplace. Key Responsibilities Include Supporting the delivery of MAS's Health, Safety and Wellbeing Plan and improvement initiatives. Coordinating Safe365 assessments, maturity reviews and action plans. Supporting critical risk management and control assurance activities. Managing incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions. Delivering health, safety and wellbeing reporting and insights. Supporting wellbeing initiatives, training and employee engagement programmes. Assisting with audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintaining health, safety and wellbeing systems, registers and documentation. About You You'll bring strong health and safety experience together with a practical, collaborative approach and a passion for supporting people and organisational wellbeing. To Be Successful You'll Have At least 4 years' experience in a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Adviser role or similar. A relevant qualification in Health and Safety, Risk Management, Occupational Health, Human Resources or a related discipline. A solid understanding of New Zealand health and safety legislation and risk management practices. Experience supporting health and safety management systems and continuous improvement programmes. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills. Well-developed reporting, analytical and communication capabilities.
