The Role As an Assistant Manager, you will: Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality compliance work Review and mentor intermediate and junior accountants Provide insights and advice to help clients improve performance Work directly alongside the Partners on projects and advisory work Contribute to a culture of learning and continuous improvement About You You’ll bring both technical capability and a growth mindset, along with: CA qualification (or near completion) 3+ years' BAS experience within a New Zealand public practice Strong grounding in financial statements, tax, and client service The confidence to manage client relationships and support a team Experience with Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting platforms What’s on Offer Competitive salary (depending on experience) Structured career progression toward management level Hybrid work options and flexible hours Ongoing CA support and paid training Supportive, social team with excellent retention This role is ideal for an experienced Senior BAS Accountant who's ready to take the next step in a mid-tier environment that rewards initiative, encourages growth, and offers genuine balance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
