You will: Ledand inspire a team to provide exceptionalmaintenance and community service Designand manage maintenance schedules of playgrounds and outdoor furniture Ensurerapid response repairs and graffiiti removal are carried out promptly Work alongside, collaborate andsite supervise any operational work with community groups, volunteers, schoolgroups and Resident Associations ChampionHealth and Safety ensuring it remains top priority all team members Ensureall work carried out is digitally logged and documented accurately, and carriedout in compliance with policies and legislation. About you You’ll need tobe a hardworking, motivated leader and passionate about Porirua City. This is abusy role, and will keep you on your toes. You’ll need to show us that you: Can supervise staff to ensureprogrammed maintenance schedules are delivered on time Are customer focussed, and willdeliver exceptional customer service to our residents and visitors Have trade or handyman skills, experience in fabrication, building andworkshop maintenance Are computer literate usingcomputers and mobile tech for tasks and reporting Hold an unrestricted class 1drivers license Are able to meet the physicaldemands of the role Have a good understanding andcommitment to health and safety in the workplace, What you need to do now Come and joinour team and be part of our welcoming and engaging environment.
