Instrumentation Maintainer (Electrician)

Join our clients team as an Instrumentation Maintainer and play a key role in keeping critical generation assets running safely and efficiently. We're looking for a proactive, hands-on team player who enjoys solving problems, taking ownership, and contributing to a positive team culture. What You’ll Be Doing Perform instrumentation maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs. Support the reliability and performance of generation plant assets. Assist with electrical, mechanical, and general plant maintenance activities when required. Identify issues, take ownership, and implement practical solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and asset reliability projects. Maintain high standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational performance. Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to keep the plant operating efficiently. What You Need EWRB Registration with a current practising electrical licence. 3-5 years' plant operations, process control, or maintenance experience within a manufacturing or heavy process industry. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure. Excellent communication and computer skills. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and help across multiple disciplines. Highly regarded but not essential: Instrumentation and Control qualification. Hazardous Area qualifications and experience. Experience maintaining geothermal or hydro generation assets. Previous supervisory experience.
