Lead a key part of our transport operation Coordinate safe, accurate and on-time store deliveries Join our team at Briscoe Group’s new Distribution Centre in Drury About the role We are looking for an experienced Transport Team Leader to join our new Distribution Centre in Drury. This hands-on role is responsible for coordinating daily transport activities, including truck loading, pallet staging, racking and stock movements. You will lead the team, manage workflow and resources, liaise with drivers and stores, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time. We're looking for someone that's available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm. Key responsibilities Lead, coach and support the transport team Plan labour and workflow to meet daily delivery requirements Coordinate truck schedules, loading priorities and store delivery windows Oversee safe and accurate truck loading, staging and racking Liaise with drivers, stores and freight providers Maintain safety, compliance and housekeeping standards Resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement About you You will bring: At least two years’ experience in transport or dispatch operations Previous team leadership or supervisory experience Experience using RF scanners in a warehousing, transport or distribution environment Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills The ability to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team Confidence working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to safety Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel skills Familiarity with warehouse management systems and e-road compliance A forklift licence, OSH certification and current First Aid Certificate would be advantageous.
