Job Description

Mō te tūranga | About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Modernise Contact Centre squad and support Westpac’s critical contact centre platforms. You’ll work across software development, integration, automation, production support and platform modernisation, helping deliver reliable technology for customers and frontline teams. What you’ll be doing Develop and maintain contact centre platform solutions. Build and support integrations using APIs and middleware. Apply CI/CD, automation, testing and DevOps practices. Support production systems and drive continuous improvement. Mentor engineers and contribute to strong engineering practices. What will you bring? You’ll bring strong engineering experience, ownership and a collaborative mindset, including: Microsoft Dynamics 365 development experience. Contact centre domain knowledge. Experience with APIs, middleware, CI/CD, automated testing and production support. Strong problem-solving, communication and mentoring skills. Nice to have: Experience in any of the following would be beneficial: CCaaS, IVR, telephony or enterprise contact centre technologies. Java, Spring Boot, cloud-native platforms or monitoring tools. Financial services or regulated environment experience.
