As a Truck Driver at Wakari Hospital , you will be responsible for completing daily delivery and transport tasks safely and efficiently while ensuring goods arrive on time and in excellent condition. You'll play a key role in maintaining service standards and supporting the smooth operation of healthcare services. This is a Permanent position with 24 hours guaranteed per week and f lexible availability for weekend cover when required. Work Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM Occasional weekend work to provide annual leave (AL) cover Complete scheduled deliveries safely, efficiently, and on time while adhering to road safety regulations. Load, unload, and transport goods while ensuring product quality and food safety standards are maintained. Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and report maintenance requirements promptly. Monitor delivery documentation and ensure orders and dockets are accurate before departure. Work collaboratively with colleagues and customers while following company policies, health & safety, and food safety procedures. Demonstrated experience in a delivery driver or transport-related role. A full and valid driver's licence with a strong commitment to safe driving practices. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physically fit, reliable, hardworking, and comfortable with manual handling tasks. A positive team player with a flexible attitude and a strong customer service focus.
