Manufacturing Cost & Procurement Manager

This role ensures efficient and cost-effective procurement processes, supplier relationships, and cost controls that align with business objectives, driving profitability and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a national manufacturing procurement strategy for day-to-day and raw material procurement product that optimises cost, quality, and supplier performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards. Partner with Group Finance to align procurement and cost management with the company’s financial strategy. Develop cost models, forecasts, and reporting to support budgeting and financial planning. Lead contract negotiations and supplier performance reviews for day-to-day and raw material manufacturing suppliers to drive operational excellence Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure manufacturing procurement efficiency and cost management success. Key Attributes At least 5 years’ experience in Cost Accounting and Process Improvement. Purchasing and M3 Experience also desirable. Flexible, reliable and stakeholder & customer focused. Communicates effectively with the wider team and operates in a respectful and supportive manner.
