Sales Consultant

Our client is seeking a driven Sales Consultant to join its Central Otago team, helping homeowners create beautiful living spaces across Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell and the wider region. This is not retail sales. This is a consultative, in-home sales role where you'll work with qualified leads, build your own referral network, and manage customers from initial consultation through to installation. Responsibilities include: Conducting in-home consultations Measuring and preparing quotations Recommending tailored product solutions Managing projects from consultation through to installation Building relationships that generate repeat business and referrals Proactively developing opportunities with builders, developers and local networks About you We're looking for genuine sales professionals who know how to build a pipeline, earn trust and convert opportunities into sales. Backgrounds that could transfer well include: Curtains & Blinds New home sales Building products Kitchens, bathrooms or flooring Furniture or home furnishings Residential construction Renovation or home improvement sales Real estate Consultative retail or in-home sales You'll also bring: A proven ability to hunt for new business and close sales Strong relationship-breaking and communication skills Confidence working autonomously Excellent organisation and time management High attention to detail A customer-first approach with genuine commercial drive Location This territory services Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell and the wider Central Otago region.
