Be responsible for administration needs of Social Work kaimahi including but not limited the following: assistance with financial plans, data collection and scheduling Liaise with vendors, casual staff, and other stakeholders Work with various cultural groups and people from different backgrounds Booking rooms, answering phones, and assisting on the reception desk Organising welcomes/whątu for newcomers and whānu as and when required Deal with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner Key requirements of the role include: Full clean New Zealand drivers licence is required (historic convictions may be considered on a case-by-case basis) Support the team with all aspects of Health and Safety Have a strong computer and IT knowledge Admin skills such as typing, reporting, responding to Site needs cultural awareness and an understanding of Tikanga Māori principles a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi Strong time management excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture Nāu te rourou | What's in it for you Oranga Tamariki offer a step based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
