In-Training Teacher Part time, Permanent, FTTE up to: 0.1 Early learning / kōhanga reo, In-training teacher English, Health and physical education, Te reo Māori, The arts, Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aotūroa, Well-being / Mana Atua A centre in West Aucklandis looking for a warm and nurturing kaiako who is in their first or second year teacher in training to work alongside our fun and inclusive team. We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about early childhood education, genuinely enjoys working with children, and thrives as part of a collaborative team. In this role, you'll help build a calm, respectful, and responsive environment where children feel safe to explore, learn and grow at their own pace. You'll form strong, trusting partnerships with whanau to ensure seamless transitions between home and the centre. You will deliver fun-filled learning experiences, practice respectful care as a core teaching value and understands the developmental and emotional needs of tamariki aged 0 to 5 years of age. What we offer: Permanent, (25 hours paid per week plus 10 hours unpaid on the floor for study requirement) totalling 35 hours per week.
