Guest Service Agent (Part-Time) Join the front office team at Rydges Wellington and help create memorable guest experiences from arrival to departure. We're looking for a passionate and service-focused Guest Service Agent who thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment and enjoys connecting with people from all walks of life. As the face of the hotel, you'll play an important role in ensuring guests feel welcomed, supported, and valued throughout their stay while maintaining the high standards of service Rydges is known for. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests with a warm and professional approach at check-in and check-out Process guest accounts, reservations, and daily transactions accurately Respond promptly to guest requests, enquiries, and feedback Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Reservations to ensure rooms are guest ready Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities, local attractions, and current promotions Ensure all operational procedures, cashiering, and WH&S standards are followed Complete opening and closing duties and support wider front office operations as required Assist in creating a positive and seamless guest experience at every interaction What You’ll Bring Previous customer service or hotel front office experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm, organised, and professional under pressure Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy Confidence using hotel systems and technology Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends, evenings, and public holidays A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality How You Work Daymaker ethos - no one's too big for the small things Inclusive and team-focused - builds positive relationships across the hotel Resilient and solutions-focused - handles challenges with professionalism Guest obsessed - delivers memorable experiences through every interaction Perks from Day One As part of EVT, you unlock Elevate Perks from your first day.
