Westland Milk Products is seeking a Farm Sustainability Specialist to lead and grow our farm sustainability programmes across our supplier network. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with farmers, industry stakeholders and internal teams to drive meaningful environmental outcomes while supporting a resilient and future-focused dairy sector. As part of our Milk Supply team, you'll play a key role in developing sustainability initiatives, supporting on-farm implementation, strengthening environmental reporting and helping suppliers navigate evolving compliance and assurance requirements. About the Role Reporting to the GM Milk Supply, you'll lead and coordinate sustainability activity across our supplier services function, ensuring programmes are practical, effective and focused on delivering value for both farmers and the business. Key responsibilities include: Leading farm sustainability programmes and continuous improvement initiatives. Supporting farmers and Milk Supply Partners with sustainability planning and on-farm implementation. Managing environmental data, reporting and performance insights. Coordinating assurance, compliance and audit activities. Developing tools, guidance materials and training resources. Building strong relationships with suppliers, regulators, auditors, consultants and industry stakeholders. About You You are a collaborative and commercially minded sustainability professional who enjoys translating strategy into practical action. You'll bring: A qualification in environmental science, agriculture, sustainability, land management or a related discipline. Experience in farm sustainability, environmental programmes, compliance, assurance or a related field. Knowledge of dairy farming and key sustainability topics such as nutrient management, water use, biodiversity, effluent management and waste minimisation. Strong analytical and reporting capability, including experience working with data and performance metrics. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A practical, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement. Why Join Westland?
