Regulatory Manager

We're driven by our values - We Grow Together, We Keep Things Simple, We Get Stuff Done About the Role We are looking to appoint a Regulatory Manager to support Goodman Fielder by providing practical and commercial regulatory advice to ensure products, packaging artwork, and claims comply with the FSANZ Food Standards Code, New Zealand regulatory requirements, and company standards. Key Responsibilities Compliance - Substantiate and approve claims (nutrition content, health, ingredient, and marketing claims) to ensure compliance with FSANZ Food Standards Code Artwork - Support, review and act as a key approver of artwork and creative materials Regulatory Insights - Work alongside R&D and Marketing to provide regulatory insights in NPD & Project/gate meetings Strategic Support - Provide strategic leadership on labelling changes, horizon-scanning of emerging regulatory issues, and advise senior leadership on the implications of regulatory change Government & Industry - Represent Goodman Fielder externally with regulators (MPI, FSANZ, Commerce Commission, Ministry of Health), industry associations (NZFGC, FMCG NZ) and technical committees including preparing submissions to consultations About You To make this role a success we are looking for someone that has the combination of a technical background in food combined with a solid understanding and practical application of regulatory affairs. Some of the skills and experience we're looking for include: A technical background in Food Science and/or Technology including food legislation (FSANZ) Prior experience in regulatory affairs with the ability to translate into practical application Consumer law experience would be beneficial Very strong stakeholder management skills to manage both internal and external What we can offer You will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together, resulting in a highly collaborative and flexible work environment.
