Job Description
You'll join a nimble, hands-on HR team in a true generalist role reporting to the General Manager - HR. You'll work closely with leaders across farming, operations and support teams to build capability and make HR practical, trusted and useful. This is role with variety, practical responsibility and the chance to make a visible contribution. Whether you are a motivated HR generalist ready for your next step, a specialist wanting broader experience, or an experienced HR practitioner who enjoys building practical people solutions we would like to hear from you. With Operational Excellence as a key focus, you'll have room to bring ideas, improve how we work and help shape the future of HR at LeaderBrand. We're open to full-time, part-time or flexible arrangements for the right person. You'll be: Partnering with leaders across farming, operations and shared services on performance, employment relations and day-to-day people matters Supporting recruitment, onboarding and talent development Contributing to engagement, wellbeing, leadership and digital improvement initiatives Improving HR systems, processes, policies and employment documentation Supporting projects that improve the employee experience and business effectiveness Exploring how technology and AI can support better ways of working. About You You'll likely bring: HR experience in a practical, fast-paced environment Tertiary education but equally interested in experience A sound understanding of New Zealand employment relations Strong relationship-building and communication skills A practical, solutions-focused approach Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to get stuck in An interest in improving systems, processes and ways of working Other experience that would add value to our team: HRIS platforms, workflow improvement, onboarding or induction design, workshop facilitation, assessment tools, design of apprenticeships or internship programs.
