You will need at least one year of nursing experience in NZ working within a team environment. We are offering you an opportunity to apply for a permanent part time registered nurse position in our 13 bed Coronary Care Unit. About the Team/Service Location We are a dedicated, skilled and supportive team who care for patients with a variety of cardiac and other medical conditions. Our strength includes excellent multidisciplinary team relations across CCU and Cardiology, and a commitment to a high standard of care. Our cardiac focus is primarily a medical approach in caring for people with: acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia, as well as managing a hospital cardiac monitoring system. CCU and Cardiology teams have close working relations, and our strength is expertise through education, sharing of knowledge, and communication in order to deliver best outcomes for patients. About you We are keen to hear from you if you have the following qualities: Must have at least 1 year of nursing experience in NZ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organised, ability to prioritise activity, and good time management Excellent initiative, critical thinking, and problem solving Committed to your professional development Enjoys a team approach to nursing Strives for an excellent standard of patient focussed care The successful applicant will be supported with a comprehensive orientation programme.
