Westland Milk Products is looking for a Milk Supply Partner to join our Milk Supply team in Hokitika. This role is focused on building trusted relationships with milk suppliers across a defined territory, supporting strong two-way communication, and helping farmers meet their supplier, compliance and milk supply commitments. As part of the Yili Oceania group, Westland Milk Products operates alongside Oceania Dairy, EasiYo, Canary Foods and Pure Nutrition, producing high-quality dairy products for export. About the role This is a field-based, relationship-led role where you will work closely with farmers, rural professionals and internal teams to support positive supplier relationships, sustainable milk production and strong supplier engagement. You will: Manage trusted relationships with milk suppliers in your territory Visit suppliers regularly and follow up on issues or opportunities Support farmer events and local engagement activities Help suppliers understand company strategy, requirements and performance Support compliance with regulatory and company standards Use supplier information, milk supply data and compliance records to identify risks and actions Work with the Milk Supply team to help maintain and grow West Coast milk supply About you You’ll bring strong relationship skills, practical dairy or agribusiness knowledge, and the confidence to work directly with farmers and rural stakeholders. You will be comfortable managing your own territory, balancing priorities and representing Westland professionally in the field. You will ideally have: Several years’ experience in agribusiness, rural services, dairy operations, supplier relationship management, sales or account management A practical understanding of dairy farming, farm systems, milk supply and on-farm compliance Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills Sound judgement and commercial awareness Confidence using supplier data, reports and records to support decisions Good planning and organisational skills A current full driver licence and ability to travel regularly across the territory This is an opportunity to play an important role in supporting Westland’s supplier network and the future of milk supply on the West Coast.
