People and Wellbeing Support Coordinator The opportunity / Te Whiwhinga mahi As our People & Wellbeing Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of People, Health & Safety, and Wellbeing services across NMIT. Working within the People & Wellbeing team, you will provide high-quality coordination and administrative support that helps ensure our people processes are efficient, compliant, and people-focused. You will work closely with the People & Wellbeing Manager and wider team to coordinate wellbeing initiatives, support Health & Safety activities, assist with HR administration, and contribute to creating a positive employee experience across the organisation. The key responsibilities for the role are: Coordinate People & Wellbeing administration, including employment documentation, payroll support, onboarding, and employee records. Support Health & Safety activities, including audits, reporting, emergency preparedness, and wellbeing initiatives. Assist with organisational development, learning and development, performance review processes, and staff engagement activities. Maintain accurate data, reporting, and compliance across People & Wellbeing systems and processes. Build strong relationships by providing responsive support to kaimahi and managers across a broad range of People & Wellbeing matters. To be successful in this role you will need: Experience providing administrative or coordination support within Human Resources, Health & Safety, or a related function. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience maintaining confidential records and preparing employment-related documentation. Confidence using HRIS or business systems and producing accurate reports and data.
