About the Role As a Senior Business Analyst within the National Public Health Service, you will provide high-quality business analysis, performance reporting and forecasting to support the delivery of key health priorities, including the Childhood Immunisation Health Target. Working collaboratively with regional and national stakeholders, you will transform complex data into actionable insights, inform strategic decision-making, identify opportunities for service improvement, and contribute to the development of robust reporting frameworks. Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to communicate evidence-based recommendations to a wide range of audiences while supporting equitable health outcomes for Māori, Pacific peoples and communities across Aotearoa About the Service The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, work towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people's health, focusing on oranga/wellbeing, prevention, protection, and population-level intervention. Relevant tertiary qualification and experience in business analysis, data analytics, public health, advisory or a related field Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret and translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations Proven experience building effective relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a wide range of audiences A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, health equity, continuous improvement and delivering outcomes that support Māori, Pacific peoples and wider communities.
