Associate Director - Quantity Surveying

The Role We’re recruiting for an experienced cost professional ready to step into a visible regional leadership role and shape the next phase of RLB’s growth across Otago and Southland. With a strong portfolio of current work and new large engagements on the horizon, you’ll lead a team delivering complex commissions including cost planning, estimating, procurement, risk advisory, value engineering and contract administration. You will develop trusted relationships with clients and wider stakeholders, and shape the direction of the RLB business across the lower South Island,a market with significant growth across both property and infrastructure. A key focus will be managing and developing the local Quantity Surveying team across the Queenstown and Dunedin offices, and working with the Directors on regional strategy and business performance What You Bring Extensive Estimating & Quantity Surveying experience, including PQS experience Demonstrated cost leadership on significant building projects in New Zealand Experience with managing client relationships and identifying new business Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying (NZIQS or RICS preferred) Ability to effectively manage and develop the regional business and team Existing relationships within the Otago/Southland market highly regarded What’s In It For You?
