Working alongside our senior leadership team, teachers, support staff, whānau and support agencies, the successful applicant will coordinate programmes and interventions that enable every learner to thrive. The ideal candidate will need to have strong knowledge of the curriculum and skills in building systems, processes and initiatives to ensure students with specific learning and behaviour needs are fully supported. We are looking for someone to further strengthen our inclusive practices and support equitable outcomes for all students. Our school has a strong belief in a relationships‑first philosophy supported by an understanding of effective pedagogies for learning. This learning support coordinator (LSC) position is fully released. Applicants must be registered New Zealand teachers with a current practising certificate. Management Unit(s) are possible for a suitably qualified and experienced applicant. The specific responsibilities of the role will be shaped to reflect the strengths and expertise of the successful applicant.
