About the role As a Legal Executive at Public Trust, you'll support our frontline teams by preparing and approving legal documents including conveyancing and PPPR applications. You'll help ensure our services run smoothly and professionally, contributing to a seamless experience for our customers. Your responsibilities will include: Drafting and approving legal documents within delegated authority Collaborating across teams and building strong internal and external relationships Supporting training and development for frontline staff Promoting best practice and contributing to continuous improvement Staying current with industry knowledge and helping modernise legal processes This role is part of a collaborative team that values clarity, simplicity, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of New Zealanders. About you You're an experienced Legal Executive with a practical mindset and a passion for simplifying the complex. You have experience in Conveyancing and PPPR and you're either registered with or working towards registration with the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives You'll also bring: Strong attention to detail Confidence in managing deadlines and delivering timely work Advanced computer literacy and solid time management A proactive, enthusiastic approach and a willingness to learn Effective communication and relationship-building skills At Public Trust, we have a strong sense of purpose and shared values that puts people at the heart of everything.
