Renewals Engineer

Role Title: Renewals Engineer Location: Blenheim, Marlborough Contract Type: Permanent – Full-Time Join us at Fulton Hogan The Opportunity Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking an experienced Renewals Engineer to join Wairau Gateway as we transition into the IDC (Integrated Delivery Contract) with the NZ Transport Agency/Waka Kotahi (NZTA). Reporting to the Quality & Renewals Manager, you will play a key role in managing delivery of the IDC renewals programme. We offer an attractive remuneration package for the successful applicant. What you’ll bring to the table Civil Engineering Diploma, Civil Engineering Degree, or equivalent recognised qualification. Full New Zealand Driver Licence. Graduate civil engineer or up to 5 years relevant civil engineering experience. Understanding of civil construction and infrastructure delivery principles. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and contract documents. Strong written communication and report‑writing skills. High level of attention to detail. Competent with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Role Accountabilities Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Renewal Quality Plans (RQPs) for all renewal activities. Coordinate and maintain project quality records and documentation. Compile quality assurance documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Attend and witness hold points as required. Monitor compliance with contract specifications, standards and quality requirements.Prepare Post Construction Reports (PCRs) for completed renewal projects. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality systems and project delivery.
