Chef de Partie - Huami (Full Time)

To support this restaurant,we're in search of a skilled and eagerChef de Partie . You'll have proven experience working as a Chef de Partie in fast paced a la carte restaurants and have exceptional service standards with a faultless attention to detail. Experience working within a Chinese restaurant is ideal having had previous wok and bbq experience and passion for Asian cuisine and quality produce is an absolute must! You'll have a positive attitude, be a confident communicator and be willing to work as part of a team, cementing your ability to work well under pressure. The ability to speak either Cantonese or Mandarin would be great although this isn'trequired. Huami, our Chinese restaurant, boasts traditional cuisine with a modern twist.Our exquisite menu showcases dishes from regional provinces across China including Canton, Sichuan, Huaiyang and Beijing. Huami offers lunch and dinner service that's sharp and truly above the rest including private dining and yum cha. The cuisine is authentic yet contemporary, prepared using traditional techniques, methods and ingredients in our open kitchen. There's live seafood, exquisite hand-crafted dim sum, expertly prepared BBQ and sumptuous dishes from the wok. We also feature the only wood fired duck oven in New Zealand!
