Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established civil construction company in Dunedin. You’ll be involved across estimating, tendering and commercial management on a variety of civil projects. Location: Central Dunedin, Dunedin Start date: Immediate Pay rate: $40–$55 per hour depending on experience, paid weekly What you'll be doing: Preparing estimates and pricing tenders Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation Managing procurement and subcontractor pricing Monitoring project costs and budgets Managing variations and commercial documentation Identifying commercial and contractual risks Working alongside management and Site Managers Supporting improvements to estimating and commercial processes What we’re looking for: Previous Quantity Surveying or estimating experience Civil construction, infrastructure or similar experience Relevant Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar qualification Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Confident reading plans, drawings and specifications Good communication and organisational skills Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities Full NZ driver licence A practical, proactive approach to problem solving What’s in it for you: $40–$55 per hour depending on experience Weekly pay Immediate start Flexible working conditions Variety of civil construction projects Work with a close-knit local team Opportunity to develop your skills and responsibilities A role where your experience and ideas are valued Why work with Tradestaff?
