Inwards Goods/Yard CSR

Are you hands-on, organised, and great with people? We are looking for a reliable all-rounder Customer Service Representative to join our CARTERS New Plymouth branch in a dual role covering Inwards Goods and Yard duties. This is a varied, active role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of behind-the-scenes and front-line customer service. About the Role You will split your time between two key areas of our branch operation: Checking off and receipting materials accurately Recording all inwards goods movements and ensuring information is entered correctly Thoroughly checking deliveries and following best-practice processes Ensuring goods are barcoded correctly and put away promptly Identifying and tracking back orders, and keeping the team informed Assisting the yard team with day-to-day operations Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently Re-stocking racks and keeping product displays tidy and well presented Helping load trucks and prepare orders for dispatch About You Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritise and stay organised, especially during busy periods Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Previous experience in a trade, building supplies, or warehouse environment is an advantage A full New Zealand Driver's Licence Desirable (not essential) Competency in operating a Forklift, with F Endorsed Licence and OSH Certificate Advantages of Advancing Your Career with CARTERS A proud part of the New Zealand building supplies industry, known for quality products and genuine customer service.
