Working alongside the Centre Manager, you will: Lead curriculum planning and assessment grounded in Te Whāriki Mentor less experienced and provisionally certificated teachers Build genuine partnerships with whānau, including school transitions Support internal evaluation, ERO readiness and licensing compliance Act as the senior person on site Recognised ECE qualification, NZQA approved, Level 7 or above Current full practising certificate, Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand Three years or more in a licensed ECE service Sound knowledge of Te Whāriki, licensing criteria and the Code and Standards Confidence mentoring others and holding straightforward professional conversations Genuine respect for our Christian character and willingness to take part, including leading karakia and celebrations Eligible to work in New Zealand and able to pass police vetting Nice to have: team leader experience, current first aid, community languages.
