Electrician

Maintenance Electrician Dunedin | Temporary (with possibility of Temp-to-Perm) | $35–$40 per hour We are seeking a skilled and registered Maintenance Electrician to carry out electrical servicing, repairs, and installations across a range of domestic and commercial buildings in Dunedin, on a temporary basis with strong potential to move to a permanent role for the right person. Core Duties Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance of electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings Install, maintain, and upgrade wiring, lighting, switchboards, sockets, and appliances Troubleshoot electrical faults and complete timely repairs Carry out periodic safety inspections and testing (e.g. RCD checks, Test & Tag, Electrical Safety Certificates) Ensure all work complies with the Electricity (Safety) Regulations 2010 and AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules Complete compliance paperwork, job sheets, and records accurately Who We're Looking For Registered Electrician with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) Current Practising Licence At least 2–3 years' post-registration experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Full NZ driver's licence Good communication and customer service skills Physically fit and able to work safely at heights and in confined spaces What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($35–$40/hour) Temporary role with genuine potential to go temp-to-perm PPE, uniform, tools, and ongoing training provided Opportunities to work across a variety of sites and projects Supportive, safety-focused work culture If you're an experienced Electrician, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
