Rotorua Lakes Council is looking for an organised and proactive Corporate Planning Support Coordinator to join our Governance, Strategy and Compliance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role provides coordination, administration and project support to help deliver Council's corporate planning, performance reporting, consultation and strategic work programmes. Working closely with the Corporate Strategy and Compliance Team Lead, you will support key initiatives including the Long-term Plan, Annual Plan, Annual Report, consultation processes and organisational reporting. You will coordinate information, maintain project schedules and records, assist with hearings and stakeholder engagement activities, and help ensure the smooth delivery of the team's work programme. To be successful, you will have experience in administration, coordination or project support within a complex organisation, excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and confidence working with Microsoft Office and SharePoint. You will be a strong communicator who enjoys building positive relationships, managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality support. Experience in local government, corporate planning, consultation or governance processes would be an advantage. At Rotorua Lakes Council, our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
