Job Description We have an opportunity for an experienced Stormwater Modeller to join our nationally recognised Three Waters team. You will work on a varied portfolio of flood-risk, land development and infrastructure projects, helping clients make informed decisions and create more resilient communities. About the role You will lead and deliver integrated catchment and flood-modelling work for strategy, planning, development and design projects. You will apply sound technical judgement, work directly with clients and project teams, and support the development of junior modellers. What you will bring Around eight or more years’ relevant hydraulic or stormwater-modelling experience, preferably within New Zealand. Strong 1D–2D modelling capability using TUFLOW, InfoWorks ICM and/or the DHI MIKE suite. Experience with ESTRY, HEC-RAS or Flood Modeller would be advantageous. GIS capability using QGIS, ArcGIS or MapInfo. The ability to independently troubleshoot technical challenges and produce robust, high-quality modelling and flood-mapping outputs. A strong record of project delivery, client service and commercial awareness. The confidence to lead technical work and mentor developing team members. Why Woods?
